Discover how your nervous system responds under pressure.
Through the Distress Type Validation Tool, you’ll uncover your dominant stress pattern—the unique way your mind and body protect you when overwhelmed.

Understanding your Distress Type is the first step toward regulation and relief. You’ll learn whether you most often express stress through one of six core patterns:

  • Assertive Distress — Reactivity, conflict, or control when under pressure

  • Isolation Distress — Withdrawal, shutdown, or emotional detachment

  • Control Distress — Rigidity, overplanning, or micromanaging
